Narrators, an award-winning influencer marketing platform in Singapore, needed to revamp their mobile app to boost engagement among influencers, marketers, and end-users. The app’s confusing user experience and low engagement scores underscored the urgency for change. Our goal was to create a platform that empowered users and enhanced interactions.

A six-hour design thinking workshop with 12 participants uncovered 34 pain points and 42 usability issues across these key areas:
• Recruiting: Inefficient onboarding for influencers and marketers.
• Registration: Security concerns and cumbersome sign-ups.
• Onboarding: Confusing workflows and unclear instructions.
• Campaign Management: Barriers to task completion.
• Payouts: Delayed and opaque processes.

The workshop revealed frustrations such as passive invitations, inconsistent feedback, and payout delays, which undermined trust and engagement.

Delivered a suite of user-centered assets:

1. Redesigned Information Architecture: Simplified navigation.
2. Personas and User Journeys: Insights into diverse needs.
3, Wireframes and High-Fidelity UI: Visualizing a better experience.
4. Interactive Prototypes: Testing and showcasing the vision.

Each element prioritized usability and visual appeal, forming the foundation for an improved platform.

The redesign addressed critical issues, setting the stage for:
• Human Impact: Easier workflows and engaging gamified features.
• Business Value: Restored trust and stronger connections with users.

These designs positioned Narrators for long-term growth while instilling a deeper appreciation for design thinking among their team.

This project highlighted the value of playful collaboration and user empathy. By addressing core challenges with bold design solutions, we delivered more than a strategy—we paved the way for transformation and lasting impact.
